2017-2019 Strategic Plan Overview
AANA's strategic planning process is designed to ensure the sustainable relevance and growth of the association. Based on input from members through a stakeholder survey, interviews with leaders past and present, a thorough review of the association’s current programs, services and initiatives, and a full-day planning session with the Board of Directors, the plan details four key priorities that will be the focus of the association's efforts over the next three years.
ADVOCACY: To be the leading advocate for the field of arthroscopy among regulatory agencies and payers
EDUCATION: To be the recognized provider of and resource for surgical education in the field of arthroscopy
SKILLS ASSESSMENT: To be the recognized certifier of proficiency skills in arthroscopy
FINANCE: To operate under a business model that supports consistent financial and organizational growth.
Within each of these four priorities, the plan details objectives that define what the association will accomplish, strategies to reach each objective, and milestones that establish project deadlines and measure the efficacy of the objectives and strategies.
